TRIPLEX MODEL SHOE
A model of a Nike air force made from triplex cardboard. This assignment is a Nike air force 1 for school, whereby I had to create a replica of a shoe using triplex cardboard.
 Activity1: Full model shoe
Different pieces of the shoe were cut from the triplex cardboard and were all attached together using Bostik clear glue and masking tape. Starting with the sole which required measuring the size using the original reference shoe for the correct dimensions and measurements. The back of the shoe and the front of the shoe were attached from the inside using glue, then masking tape to strengthen the hold.
These are different angels of the shoe from the back to the sides, showing the Nike logo and sign on the side and back of the shoe.
A side-to-side comparison of the reference shoe and the triplex model.
 Activity 2: half shoe

The challenge was making the inside of the shoe without knowing how it looks from the inside. I had to be creative and imagine how the inside of the shoe would look like. i made the side of the shoe using triplex board, whereby I tried to segment the shoe into many different small pieces and attached all the individual pieces using super glue and Bostik clear glue. I used masking tape for the inside of the shoe to attach the sides of the shoe to the bottom.
Above are the different angels of the shoe from the back to the top of the shoe.
Activity 3: Mould of shoe
the mold of the shoe was by far the easiest out of all the project. I began by making the sole of the show then I attached it to the box of the shoe. I added on details of the shoe to the inside of shoe to make it look like a mold.
